Schedule A Tour!
We are a small-group, home-based center in the heart of 89032, so your child gets the structure of a preschool with the warmth of family. Here’s exactly what a day looks like.
7:00 AM - 8:30 AM: Warm Welcome & Soft Start
The doors open and the butterflies flutter in. This is our slow, gentle start.
We greet each child by name at eye level, help with backpacks and shoes, and let parents share any updates from the night before. Children choose from quiet morning centers — puzzles, books, play-doh, or coloring — while friends arrive.
Why parents love it: No rushed drop-off line. Your child is settled, not just dropped.
8:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Healthy Breakfast & Morning Chatter
We sit family-style for a USDA-balanced breakfast. This is more than food — it’s where we practice manners, conversation, and independence. Toddlers pour their own water. Preschoolers help wipe tables.
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Circle Time & Learning Centers
This is the heart of our learning garden.
For Infants (6 weeks - 18 months): Sensory songs, tummy time, peek-a-boo with scarves, language babbling, and one-on-one cuddles and reading.
For Toddlers (18 months - 3 years): Good Morning song, weather, calendar, letter of the week, and movement songs like "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes."
For Preschool Prep (3-5 years): Phonics, counting, sight words, story sequencing, and social-emotional check-ins: "How are you feeling today?"
After circle, children rotate through learning centers: STEM bin, art table, dramatic play, and early literacy.
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Outdoor Exploration & Big Movement
We go OUTSIDE every day. Our backyard at 4123 Glass Lantern Dr is fully fenced, shaded, and age-separated.
Think: bubble chase, tricycle track, water table, gardening, obstacle courses, and free imaginative play. This isn’t just playtime — it’s where we build gross motor skills, problem-solving, and confidence.
We apply sunscreen, offer water breaks, and follow Nevada heat safety guidelines.
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Wash Up, Lunch & Gratitude
Another family-style meal. We serve balanced, kid-approved lunches and model gratitude. Children help set napkins, practice using forks and spoons, and clean up.
Parents get a photo and daily log via text/app: what they ate and how much.
12:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Quiet Rest & Recharge
Every butterfly needs to rest their wings.
Infants nap on their own schedule in a quiet, supervised area. Toddlers and preschoolers have individual cots, soft music, and back rubs if needed. For early risers, we offer quiet books and puzzles on their cot so rest time stays peaceful for everyone.
2:30 PM - 3:00 PM: Snack & Wake-Up Snuggles
Light afternoon snack, diaper checks, bathroom breaks, and cuddles to ease back into the afternoon. We check in: "What was your favorite part of this morning?"
3:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Afternoon Art & STEM Lab
This is our creative power hour. This is where Instagram-worthy moments happen.
Monday might be watercolor butterflies, Tuesday is building towers and measuring, Wednesday is music and dance. Our activities always have a learning goal hidden inside the fun.
This block is designed for fine motor skills, creativity, and kindergarten readiness.
4:30 PM - 6:00 PM: Free Play, Story Time & Goodbye Circle
We wind down. Outdoor free play, story time on the rug, and our Goodbye Circle where each child shares one thing they are proud of today. We tidy up together, pack backpacks, and get ready for pickup.
You get a full daily report: diapers/potty, meals, naps, mood, and what we learned — so you’re never guessing.
Why Our Routine Works
Young children thrive on predictability. When they know what comes next, they feel safe. When they feel safe, they learn faster.
That’s the Destinee's Butterflies difference. At our North Las Vegas home on Glass Lantern Dr, your child isn't one of 30 in a classroom. They're one of our butterflies — known, loved, and taught with intention.
We Have 3 Spots Left for Fall Enrollment.
